Critical and Creative Thinking in Health Care

Question: Discuss about the Critical and Creative Thinking in Health Care. Answer: Introduction: The Author has demystified the concepts of critical and creative thinking by identifying distinct characteristics which bring the difference between the two words. (Creative thinking habits, 2011, p. 3) depicts that creative thinking brings about improvisation or an invention whereas critical thinking seeks to understand the validity of a statement. Further the writer has emphasized the importance of the skills to health practitioners and students. Besides, the author clarifies the skills helps the health practitioners to evaluate the evidence before making clinical decisions. The author has used justified premises to reinforce on the importance of these skills. Further research has proven that critical and creative skills are inseparable (LGER, 2016, p. 1). As such, applying these principles will inculcate proper problem solving skills or techniques. In my valuation, I give credit to the researcher and I agree with the facts because I have analyzed the premises and am convinced they are credible premises. It is a fact, these skills inter-relate hence we require them as healthcare practitioners. Especially when required to make critical decisions or solving problems. I cordially drive meaning from this concept and I think they are important. My friend`s summary is similar to my observation because there are common aspects that have been observed from the research. We conquer in opinion because the facts and importance of these skills have been jotted. References Creative thinking habits. (2011).
